AI technology is being incorporated into all devices and services around us, and it is expected to bring about increasing social impact and technological innovation in the future. This session aims to comprehensively learn about AI, from its overall picture to cutting-edge technological applications. In the first half of this session, experts from industry-leading companies will give lectures on the overall outline of AI and the latest trends, broadly exploring how AI is transforming society and business.

This first technology seminar series in SEMICON Japan founded in 1982, now grown to the international tech symposium marks the 43rd this year. It has been developed as a place to discuss technology among engineers by picking-up the semiconductor technology trends and its issue and sharing the practical technologies to the industry. This symposium stimulates global business growth by involving a variety of different players and visitors.
This program is organized thanks to "SEMI Technology Steering Committee (STS)" formed by top engineers from industry-leading companies, universities, and research institutions.

In the age of value creation with AI, a technology is only as valuable as the ecosystem it enables. Enterprises seeking to incorporate generative AI into their workflows face challenges when it comes to inferencing costs, trustworthiness of AI, energy efficiency, portability, and being able to use enterprise data effectively and securely. Addressing these challenges requires not only innovation but also the right type of AI business strategy—one built on the collective power of an open, healthy AI community. We will discuss the latest technologies from IBM designed to scale enterprise AI and unpack what a winning AI business strategy looks like.
In the future, cooperation and collaboration between multiple AIs are expected to create more efficient social systems and new win-win opportunities. Multi-agent automated negotiation is an important technology for cooperation and collaboration between AIs. In this presentation, I make a presentation about the Automated Negotiating Agent Competition (ANAC), the latest research trends, and efforts toward the practical application of automated negotiation.
