As an overview of current efforts related to semiconductors in the ICT field, the speaker, belonging to the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communication, will explain the overall picture of the ICT policy and efforts related to Beyond 5G. The speaker will also provide an overview of the "Beyond 5G Promotion Strategy 2.0" that takes into account new changes in the Beyond 5G related fields, such as the explosive spread of AI, as represented by large-scale language models. After that, the speaker will introduce some of prospective R&D projects including ones in FY2025, focusing on those related to semiconductors.
