The pavilion will feature a wide range of content, including Japan’s first domestically developed semiconductor quantum computer—showcasing both the cryostat and the QPU (quantum processing unit).

To achieve net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050, Japan’s Ministry of the Environment is promoting the social implementation and widespread adoption of next-generation power semiconductors with high energy conversion efficiency—specifically, Gallium Nitride (GaN).
This exhibit showcases innovative GaN-based power conversion technologies applicable to a wide range of devices in our digital society, including electric vehicles, data centers, and renewable energy systems. In this zone, visitors can explore the inner workings of the latest smartphones—such as the Apple iPhone 17 Plus, Huawei Pura 80, and Samsung Galaxy S25+—through detailed disassembly displays that highlight the semiconductor devices and advanced packaging technologies they incorporate.
In addition to other automotive electronic components, this year introduces a new initiative: the disassembly of base stations that support our communication infrastructure. Featured components from Huawei, Nokia, Ericsson, and Inseego offer an inside look at communication equipment in the 5G/6G era.
From smartphones and in-vehicle electronics to communication infrastructure, this zone provides a comprehensive view of the diverse fields where semiconductors play a vital role.
