SEMICON Japan 2009/STS Keynote Addresses
STS Keynote Speeches will be presented each day during SEMICON Japan 2009, focusing on emerging technologies which have the potential to provide new impetus to the global economy. The keynote for day 1 will address imaging technology, an exciting area of technology remarkable for its speed of innovation. Electric vehicles (EV) and light-emitting diodes (LED) are the subjects for day 2 and day 3 respectively. Automobile manufacturers are accelerating their EV development, with some models already coming to market. LEDs are being touted as a key technology for the creation of energy-efficient lighting. Each keynote will be presented by a leading expert in the field, who will provide a broad overview of the technology and insight into expected developments.
