The 12th SEMI Global Environment Symposium

-- Approach for Energy and GHG Issues in Semiconductor Industry

Energy conservation and GHG reduction for climate protection were discussed in the last symposium.  After the East Japan massive disaster, power shortages are a big concern in Japan. Also due to the mandatory GHG reporting rule in the USA, the importance of action for GHG reduction has been re-acknowledged. Given this situation, we will hold this year's symposium as the sub-title “Approach for Energy and GHG Issues in Semiconductor Industry”.
